Hi everyone, happy to see you.
Today I have indie brand Forever Polished Mixing Magic for you. I need to start by saying that this is a limited edition polish and as I write this it is currently out of stock. Sorry about that. The Forever Polished store can be found here and I also suggest that you follow on facebook so you don't miss any sale information or new releases. At this time shipping is only available in the U.S. and Canada.
MIXING MAGIC is a white based creme with holographic squares and pink, blue and gold micro shimmer. I'll have to say that the base almost leans a light grey. Maybe that's just me. Applied easily and I had full coverage in three coats. I found the holographic squares were uncooperative for me. I ended up with a few, but would have liked more! The shimmer is lovely though.
I hope you enjoyed today's nails! Love to see you back soon.

Elixir Lacquers My picks of the Roller Derby Ruckus Collection
Today's post features my three picks from Elixir Lacquers Roller Derby Ruckus Collection.
All Elixir Lacquers are 3 free and cruelty free. Polish can be purchased here and retails for $10.00 US.
All photos taken in artificial lighting. The weather here is beyond miserable, so I had no choice.
SHAMROCK SHAKEDOWN is a mix of multi sized hexes, holographic squares and iridescent hexes. The translucent glitter is really neat. Love it! This is 2 coats of Shamrock Shakedown over OPI My Vampire is Buff. I did have a bit of problem with a lot of the glitter being stuck to the sides of the bottle, but still got good coverage.
MISSY MAYHEM is loaded with various square glitter. White, blue, purple in iridescent, satin and holographic finishes. This is 2 coats over China Glaze Fade Into Hue. No problems with application. Base is a bit thick, but no different then most clear based glitters.
DOUBLE D-STRUCTION is a clear base topper with teal, brown and bronze in a mix of micro, medium and large hex. Finishes include satin and mirror. I had read on another blog that they had some problems getting the large teal glitter out of the bottle, so I flipped mine upside down before using and had no issues getting the large glitter out. This is a really interesting mix of colours. My fave of the three! I layered 2 coats over OPI I Saw You Saw We Saw Warsaw. Absolutely LOVE this combo! What do you think?
Overall I was really pleased with all three that I chose. Due to the glitter combos you can really get creative with what you choose to layer these over. All three are currently in stock here. Also, don't forget to follow along on facebook for updates and new releases.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the post!

Nail Pattern Boldness Slow Invasion and Oodiful
The indies are going strong!
I have my two picks from the Time Traveler collection by Nail Pattern Boldness.
Slow Invasion is a teal jelly with various sizes and colours of square glitter. Because this is a jelly you do need multiple coats for full coverage. I used four. Surprisingly, it remained easy to work with. No problems with glitters bunching up.
Oodiful is a grey jelly polish with pale pink and pink matte squares and white matte hexes. I used four coats for this polish as well. It built up nicely, but you'll see in the photos that it is a little uneven. A good top coat will fix this.
Nail Pattern Boldness can be purchased through the etsy store here. You can also buy them through Llarowe.

Darling Diva Fancy Nancy and Princess Celestia
Day 20 of indie month. Can you believe it? The sad thing is that I have hardly made a dent in my indie stash.
Darling Diva Polish is featured today.
Fancy Nancy is a light pink shimmer jelly base full of various glitter. There is pastel matte, iridescent, pink holo, white matte hearts and holo diamonds. I applied 2 coats over Lime Crime Parfait Day. You could try this without undies, but my guess would be that you would still have a bit of VNL.
Darling Diva can be purchased on Etsy. As this was being written both polishes were available. You can also follow on Facebook for any updates and sales.
Thank you for having a look. Hope you are all enjoying my month of indies.

Princess Celestia is a shimmer white jelly base. Contains blue and teal metallic hexes. Pink and purple matte squares, light purple diamonds and yellow flowers. You'll see in the bottle shot that my yellow flower is white. I guess it bled at some point. I have had this for awhile. Photos shown are 2 coats over white. Could be worn on its own. My guess is 4 coats for full opacity. Applied very easily.
And the bottle shot.
Thank you for having a look. Hope you are all enjoying my month of indies.

Jindie Nails Burrrberry and Santa Claws
The indies continue with some more polish from newcomer Jindie Nails. I featured one of her Christmas polishes, Grinch here. I have 2 more for today.
Burrrberry is a white crelly base with various "berry" coloured glitter. Some appear to be holographic. Applied like a dream. I only needed 2 coats for the photos! Glitter laid flat on the nail, and I didn't have to do any dabbing for coverage. This is part of the Winter Chic collection.
Santa Claws is a clear based topper with square matte glitter in red, white, black, and green. Photos are 1 1/2 coats over Sephora by OPI Mr. Right Now.
Jen currently has her store closed while she catches up with orders, but you can find it here and sign up for notifications. There is also a facebook page that is updated regularly with shop openings and new polish pics, etc. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed today's post.

Aphrodite Lacquers Catfight
Catfight is part of Aphrodite Lacquers "Friday Night Glitter Bombs" collection! You know it caught my eye when glitter bomb is in the title! Aphrodite Lacquers has an Etsy store. You can also follow on Facebook for updates. The store currently is open!
Catfight is a sheer red polish with pink/purple shimmer. Various red, white, and black glitter. Yeah for square glitter:) Photos are 2 coats over black. No top coat used, but I do recommend it. Applied easily and all glitters laid flat to the nail. Click photos to enlarge. You'll really notice the shimmer!
Thank you everyone for visiting my blog! I hope you enjoy it. I'll be doing indie polishes for all of January.
