KBShimmer Blush Money from the Spring 2015 collection. Available from KBShimmer and Harlow & Co.
Blush Money is a pink/peach linear holographic. For the photos I used three coats of Blush Money plus top coat. It applied nicely. I did still have some visible nail line. It was only visible in direct light however. Very complimentary to my skin tone, but may not be for everyone.
I also need to point out that I have worn this on my toes a couple of times. I think it makes for a fabulous pedicure!

China Glaze Strawberry Fields Swatches
Hello everyone. Hope all is well in your world!
Today I have Strawberry Fields from China Glaze for you. This polish is a re-release for this years Celebrate Courage set. It's a very nice bright pink with gold shimmer.
I used three thin coats plus top coat. The formula was thin and I still had some vnl in natural lighting. It did have a good shimmer payout though. This was more noticeable in person. It seemed to get washed out a bit in my photos.
I purchased this polish from Nail Polish Canada. China Glaze is available from too many places to list them all ; ) Thank you for visiting today. Hope you enjoyed the swatches.

Picture Polish Grace
Today I have Picture Polish Grace swatches for you.
It's a very pretty pale pink scattered holographic. No glitter in this polish. I didn't use a ridge filling base, but as you can see I should have. The formula was thinner then I expected it to be. I used three thin coats. Some of my larger flaws aren't quite covered. Remember to use a good base coat if you need it! Other then being on the thin side, I didn't have any issues. Pics are with top coat.
Picture Polish Grace is part of the Opulence series. For more information please visit the Picture Polish site. They have a lot of international stockists, so you are better off to check here. I hope you enjoyed!

China Glaze Friends Forever, Right
Just a quick little post today.
This is China Glaze Friends Forever, Right from The Giver collection. I used this as a base for some stamping the other day. Although it isn't anything overly exciting, it is a decent polish. It's a VERY light baby pink. I actually had a hard time capturing the pink in it. This is two coats with top coat.
Told you it would be a quick post

Mundo de Unas Mexican Pink stamping
Hello there. Back with another challenge mani this week. Our prompts this week were three colour gradient - pink. Since I did a gradient last week, I decided to go with the pink.
And I do need to point out that this falls into the nail fail category. I just wasn't getting a good transfer from stamp to nail. Not sure what the issue was. I didn't spend a lot of time on clean up knowing I wasn't going to be wearing this for any length of time.
My base is China Glaze Friends Forever, Right from the Giver collection. I stamped with Mundo de Unas Mexican Pink with Messy Mansion plate MM39.
There you have it, another #52wpnmc complete. Participants are from the facebook group Crumpet's Nail Tarts. Don't forget to check out the other bloggers contributing.

Ciate Beach House Set Summer 2014 Swatch and Review
Today I'll be showing you the Ciate Beach House set. The set includes five polishes. Four cremes and one glitter. This set was purchased from Sephora.
Beach Bum is a sandy beige creme. Good formula with some minor issues with self leveling. They were fixed with top coat. I used two coats. The shade is nothing unique, but it did go well with my skin tone.
Palm Tree is a very bright lime/grass green creme. The formula was on the thin side, but it was still easy to apply and well pigmented. Self leveled and two coats for full coverage. Pics with top coat.
Raspberry Collins is a hot pink creme. No issues with formula or application. Two coats plus top coat.
Off Shore is a royal blue creme. This was very close to a one coater. Had I applied more carefully, it would have been. Self leveled completely on its own. Dried the shiniest of the bunch. Photos shown are without top coat to show the shine.
Surf's Up is the glitter in the group. Consists of iridescent shards in a light base. I layered this over Off Shore, so I'm not sure what the base would look like over a lighter shade. Also the suspension base is a bit strange in this one. I would describe it as gel like. It was still easy to apply, just odd. The glitter payout isn't that great with this. I used two coats plus top coat.
Overall, I think the set is pretty nice even though it isn't original. I'm sure all these colours have dupes available. I also want to note that the bottles are minis and they don't contain mixing balls. I had to shake the crap out of them and let them sit for awhile. Please note that I didn't wear any of these to test for staining and wear time.
Thank you for sticking all the way through this! Hope you enjoyed.

Stamping with MoYou Tropical plates and Rica Polishes
Summer is winding down but I am determined to drag it out on my nails. The brighter the better! Today I went with some bright stamping.
My base is A England Iseult. It is a fabulous pale pink with a subtle shimmer. Index and pinky fingers are stamped with MoYou Tropical plate 12 using Rica stamping polish in Summer Mint. The flamingo's are Tropical plate 06 using Rica polish in Pinky Promise. No issues to report with the plates or polishes.
I really liked the way these turned out. They got a lot of notice, that's for sure! My summer will be going out in a bang. At least on my nails ;) I do need to mention that Pinky Promise is being discontinued due to issues with availabiliy of a pigment. Some international stockists still have it in stock. Act quickly!

Rica Polish Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Today I have Rica Girls Just Wanna Have Fun for you to ogle. This is a pink to purple thermal polish with some added bling.
I used three light coats plus top coat. You may be able to get away with two if you have shorter nails. The formula was good and I had no issues.
I like that the shimmer is always visible. Sometimes it can get lost with thermal polishes. I do love a good thermal. It's like cheating on a gradient ;)

Summer Gradient with China Glaze
Happy Summer everyone !!
Today I have a colourful gradient for you. Of course, my gradients are still a technique in progress, so I ended up stamping over it. Which also wasn't perfect, but it was still nice and bright.
The gradient was done over a white base using China Glaze Petal To The Metal, Metro Pollen-tin, and Be More Pacific. Stamping was done with Mundo de Unas Mexican Pink and Konad white using plate MJ XXV. I know the clean up isn't perfect, but my poor cuticles couldn't handle anymore acetone.

I need to mention that the plate I used is a test plate that I received from a giveaway. The plate I have is a bit different from the one on the site, but this design is on it. The rest of the products were purchased by me.
I hope you enjoyed! Cheers.

KBShimmer Teal Another Tail
With the weather getting better, I find myself breaking out some of my brighter shades. Today I have KBShimmer Teal Another Tail for you.
It's hard to describe this, there is a lot going on. It is a muted teal with a pink shift and micro holographic glitter. In certain lights I seemed to get a bit of a purple shift. I used two coats. I possibly could have used a third. There is just a touch of visible nail line. Applied easily with no issues. Photos are with top coat.
So there you have today's beauty. So you are aware this polish is in the process of being discontinued. It is currently available, but won't be for long. I suggest you grab a bottle, or a back up, while you can. The KBShimmer site can be found HERE. This product is also available at Harlow & Co. for international shoppers.
Thanks for dropping in to my little corner of the polish world today. Look forward to seeing you again.

I really love this macro shot. You can really appreciate everything going on in the polish.

Stamped jelly sandwich OPI and Lily Anna
This manicure was created with stamping in between a layer of jelly polish.
My polish is OPI Too Hot Pink To Hold Em. Stamping plate used was Lily Anna 04 with Konad white stamping polish. I started with two coats of polish followed by the stamping. Then I applied one more coat of the jelly polish.
I think this turned out okay. It is a fairly subtle design in person, but pretty. It is certainly easy enough to do, which is nice. Products can be found at Messy Mansion or Nail Polish Canada.
Thanks for the visit!

Dollish Polish Looking For My Mr. Big
A little bit of spring time holo goodness for you today. Now this isn't a new polish, but that doesn't mean it doesn't deserve some love!
Looking For My Mr. Big is a subtle pink/purple linear holographic. I'm afraid it's one of those polishes that you have to see in person to really appreciate. This polish is on the thin side, but is well pigmented. I used two coats, but you may choose to go for a third. Leveled perfectly and dried glossy. I really do love this polish. Photos taken in shade and indirect sun. Please excuse the dry cuticles. This was the last of a swatch day.
Dollish Polish can be found HERE. Unfortunately this polish isn't currently in rotation. However, the older shades usual reappear briefly at some point, so keep your eyes out for this one!
