Rica Leopard Spot Glitter Polishes Swatches
Today I have three new glitter toppers from Rica Polish. All three feature the new leopard spot glitters that are popping up in polishes. Post is pic heavy!
L - R: LF Neon Leopard, The Cat's Meow, Purrfectly Kissed
Quick rundown for you. All of these required the leopard spots to be fished out. These have what I call a "slippery" base. Meaning the glitter slides off the brush as you take it out of the bottle. All are finished with a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and a top coat.
Purrfectly Kissed features a pastel pink leopard glitter with various pastel glitters and micro blue glitter. Layered over Barielly Money Talks. This is two coats of the smaller glitters and placing of the leopard spots. The fishing was fairly easy with this one.
LF Neon Leopard ( Lisa Frank inspired ) Features white leopard with various bright and black glitter in micro and small sizes. One coat layered over Illamasqua Grab. This had the best coverage of the bunch. One leopard came out of the bottle on its own. The rest were placed but the easiest to fish.
The Cat's Meow is a silver holographic leopard with silver, blue, and purple holo glitters. This was the sparsest coverage of the three. At times I would only have one glitter on the brush. This also required a lot of effort to get the leopard spots out of the bottle. This is layered over Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Pagan. I really loved the combo of these two together.
Although these don't have the greatest application, I do like the way they look. Tons of layering options with these too. What do you think? Worth the effort? These polishes are available from Rica's Etsy Shop.
Thanks for sticking through the whole post.

Illamasqua Nomad swatch and review
Today I will be showing off the one and only Illamasqua polish that I own, Nomad. I purchased this from Sephora. I believe in Canada and the U.S. that that is the only supplier. Let me know if I am wrong on that!
NOMAD is a hard to describe shade of green. Is that helpful? I didn't think so. Maybe a bright seafoamish? Bright sorta jade? Anyway it is bright. Call it want you want I guess. Photos are 3 coats with top coat. Formula wise this wasn't the best. I don't like having to fight with an application. I also hated the lid. I have a hard time holding square lids. It didn't self level, even with top coat, although that did help with most of the leveling issues.
So to summarize, I wasn't impressed. Especially as this retails for $22.00 cdn. Unfortunately since this is the only Illamasqua polish I own, I can't compare it. I really don't feel the need to buy anymore of them after using Nomad. Sad, because the shade is quite lovely! Do you have any experience with this brand? Would love to hear your thoughts!
