Christmas Day Santa Hats

So here is my (better late then never) Christmas Day manicure!

I decided to go for a variation of a Santa hat with accent nails. I got this idea from a picture I saw floating around on facebook in the summer. At this point I have no idea who it belonged to. Sorry!

My accent nail is Delush Polish Born In Blood. This was part of Adrianne's Dexter halloween collection! For the hats, the clear part of the nail is China Glaze Snow Globe. The hats are China Glaze Ring In The Red, White On White with a dab of Fairy Dust on top for the trim.

Overall, I was quite happy with these. Whimsical and fun and festive, which is what I was hoping for! Hope you all had a great Christmas!

Delush Polish Her Ladyship

Good morning everyone. Hope you are enjoying your start to the long weekend!

Today I have Her Lady from Delush Polish Downton A-list collection. This is a peach leaning coral base with yellow daisy glitter and a mix of glitter in yellow, teal and pink. It sounds a bit overwhelming, but it all blends into the colourful base. I only needed two coats for full coverage. I could only get one daisy out of the bottle, but it is a mini size and I sometimes find them harder to get at larger glitters. A smoothing top coat is recommended.

Delush Polish Lady Sybiling

Delush Polish Lady Sybiling from the Downton A List collection. Based on the show Downton Abbey. Lady Sybiling is a frosty emerald green base packed with various glitters. Each nail looks different so it's hard to say exactly what is in the bottle! Great application. I had full coverage in two coats. And the extra bonus, this dried extremely fast. A coat of top coat smooths everything out nicely.

Delush Polish can be purchased here. Full size retail for $8.95 US and minis are $4.50. This polish is currently in stock! Thank you for sharing some time with me today. I hope you are enjoying the first day of summer.

Hippty Hop by Delush Polish

Welcome! Today's polish is Delush Polish Hippty Hop. Or possibly Hippity Hop. Strange I know. The listings say hippity, but the bottle says hippty. Take your pick I guess. Anyway, this polish is from the Eggsra Special Limited Edition set that was released for Easter. Don't panic, it's still available.

Adrianna (the maker) states this polish was inspired by the Cadbury cream egg. It's a milky white base full of yellow, orange, blue and pale green glitter. Great application. I used three coats for full coverage. I also used a coat of Gelous, but it isn't really necessary. A thicker top coat would do the job. The bubble you see is from top coat, not the polish!

Delush Polish is available to purchase here. Shipping is available everywhere! You can also follow along on facebook for updates and sneak peeks.
Thanks for looking!

Delush Polish Lord Earl Grey swatch and review

Delush Polish is a new indie brand that has recently made its debut! Today I have Lord Earl Grey to share with you. This polish is from Adrianna's first collection Downton A-List. All polishes in this collection are based on the TV series Downton Abbey. All polish is handmade, 3 free, and cruelty free. Please visit the Delush Polish Etsy store for all available polishes. Shipping is available worldwide.

LORD EARL GREY is a deep grey/green frosty polish with some holographic micro shimmer. Full coverage in 2 coats. I suggest applying this a bit thicker then you would a regular polish. Let dry a bit between coats to avoid pulling off the previous coat of polish. I did have minimal visible brush strokes, but it wasn't horrible. Photos shown are with top coat.
