Summer Melon by F4 Polish

Happy Labour Day to those that have this holiday. For me, that means kids are back to school tomorrow. Double yeah!!! I know, bad mom, but what can I say. More time for blogging :)

Summer Melon is a clear based glitter topper. Full of micro and small pink and green glitter with some larger black hexagons. Really does scream watermelon! I have two coats of Summer Melon over Pure Ice Free Spirit. No dabbing required the formula had great coverage.

All information about F4 Polish can be found on facebook. Their etsy shop is on vacation, but the link is here. Because it is in vacation mode, I can't comment on whether this polish is still available. My apologies. Have a great day :)

Sweetcheeks Polish Jetta swatch and review

Hello everyone! Today I have Sweetcheeks Polish Jetta from the Jem and the Holograms collection to show you.

Jetta is a clear base glitter topper with mainly black micro bar glitter and white and iridescent small hexagon glitter. The colours are based on her hair, saxophone, and her polka dot outfit!  Because of the small size of the bar glitter, I had no issues with any sticking up. No picking off either, which I always seem to do with the larger ones! Photos show one coat of Jetta over China Glaze Make Some Noise. Great coverage in one coat. Perfectly smooth with top coat.

I also need to mention that I got to meet Steph (the creator) in person! Great person to go along with a great product! I hope you all check out her other polishes that she has available. As always, thanks for stopping by!

Jindie Nails Candy Land

Good day everyone!  Hope everything is going well in your corner of the nail world today.  I decided to brighten my day up with Candy Land from Jindie Nails.  Getting tired of the grey weather we have been having.

CANDY LAND - is a white crelly base polish with medium and large neon hexagon glitter. The glitter is slightly translucent which gives it an interesting look. The polish requires a good shake and I suggest letting it sit upside for a bit before using to help get the larger glitters out. Photos shown are 4 coats of Candy Land with a coat of glitter food from Nail Pattern Boldness and a coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast. Next time I will layer this over a white polish. I did end up with some bubbles. I think this is because of the amount of coats I had on my nails.

Jindie Nails is available through Etsy and now also through Llarowe.  The etsy shop is currently in vacation mode, but if you follow Jindie Nails on Facebook it is regularly updated with shop openings and new release information.  An announcement was recently made that Jindie Nails would also be available through Harlow & Co starting April 19th.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed today's post!

Elixir Lacquers My picks of the Roller Derby Ruckus Collection

Today's post features my three picks from Elixir Lacquers Roller Derby Ruckus Collection.

All Elixir Lacquers are 3 free and cruelty free. Polish can be purchased here and retails for $10.00 US.
All photos taken in artificial lighting. The weather here is beyond miserable, so I had no choice.

SHAMROCK SHAKEDOWN is a mix of multi sized hexes, holographic squares and iridescent hexes. The translucent glitter is really neat. Love it! This is 2 coats of Shamrock Shakedown over OPI My Vampire is Buff. I did have a bit of problem with a lot of the glitter being stuck to the sides of the bottle, but still got good coverage.

MISSY MAYHEM is loaded with various square glitter. White, blue, purple in iridescent, satin and holographic finishes. This is 2 coats over China Glaze Fade Into Hue. No problems with application. Base is a bit thick, but no different then most clear based glitters.

DOUBLE D-STRUCTION is a clear base topper with teal, brown and bronze in a mix of micro, medium and large hex. Finishes include satin and mirror.  I had read on another blog that they had some problems getting the large teal glitter out of the bottle, so I flipped mine upside down before using and had no issues getting the large glitter out. This is a really interesting mix of colours. My fave of the three! I layered 2 coats over OPI I Saw You Saw We Saw Warsaw. Absolutely LOVE this combo! What do you think?

Overall I was really pleased with all three that I chose. Due to the glitter combos you can really get creative with what you choose to layer these over. All three are currently in stock here. Also, don't forget to follow along on facebook for updates and new releases.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the post!
