Hi everyone. Happy Tuesday?
Today I have a comparison post for you. Lime Crime Milky Ways and Color Club Look, Don't Tusk.
As it turns out, they aren't as close to one another as I though they would be. Milky Ways is a touch on the creamier looking side opposed to the Color Club which I find to be a true ivory shade. For the photos I used two coats of each polish. The Lime Crime did have a few bubbles in it. The Lime Crime polishes tend to separate and since you have to give them a really good shake, I always end up with a few bubbles. I would roll them, but the shape of the bottle prevents that. Other then that, both the formulas are very similar. Both work well as bases for nail art. On there own, I find them a bit bland. In the pics I have Milky Ways on my index and ring fingers. Look, Don't Tusk is on my middle and pinky fingers.
Well, there you have it. They definitely aren't dupes! If you are looking for nail art bases, both of these are great. Of course, you will have a much easier time finding Color Club polishes. Lime Crime always seems to be on back order.
Thanks for the visit and I hope you enjoyed the post.

Yes, more orange!
The last orange post, I promise. I hope you enjoyed them.
Quo by Orly Crushing On You is an orange jelly. Very squishy and nice! Just wish it was a tad more opaque. Lovely orange shade though. Three coats but still some vnl.
Lime Crime Peaches <3 Cream. Just have to say I hate that the name has a heart symbol in it. I just do! This is a pastel peachy orange. Dries flat, so a top coat is required. This will also help with leveling, as it doesn't apply perfectly. Nice and bright. I did have a bubble though.
Last, but not least, OPI Hi, Pumpkin. This is from last years Halloween set. It really does say pumpkin to me! Creamy medium orange cream. Not the best formula wise. Three coats for full coverage and doesn't quite self level. With top coat.
Well, I hope you have liked all the orange over the last few days. I do have more, but it's time to move on to something else. I'm oranged out for now!

Fuzzy Coat from Sally Hansen
Hey everyone. I broke down and bought two of the new fuzzy coat textured polishes from Sally Hansen. Even though I hate bar glitter, I decided I had to give it a try. I purchased these from my local Shoppers Drug Mart. They were on sale for $5.99.
Wool Lite is light pink and white micro bar glitter in a clear base. I have two coats layered over Lime Crime Parfait Day. Top coat is a must to help smooth. Although I didn't have any of the bars sticking up off the nail, they did tend to hang off the ends and needed to be pushed back onto the nail. I didn't try, but I am pretty sure there is no way you could get full coverage with these.
Fuzzy Fantasy is the light green one. Possibly a bit of yellow mixed in. This one was extremely hard to photograph. I have two coats layered over Lime Crime Pastelchio. I think this one would have been better layered over a contrasting colour?
Overall, I don't think I am a fan. They looked okay, but bar glitter just doesn't do it for me. How do you feel about bar glitter? At least I can say I tried. Thanks for stopping in. Hope to see you back soon.

Darling Diva Fancy Nancy and Princess Celestia
Day 20 of indie month. Can you believe it? The sad thing is that I have hardly made a dent in my indie stash.
Darling Diva Polish is featured today.
Fancy Nancy is a light pink shimmer jelly base full of various glitter. There is pastel matte, iridescent, pink holo, white matte hearts and holo diamonds. I applied 2 coats over Lime Crime Parfait Day. You could try this without undies, but my guess would be that you would still have a bit of VNL.
Darling Diva can be purchased on Etsy. As this was being written both polishes were available. You can also follow on Facebook for any updates and sales.
Thank you for having a look. Hope you are all enjoying my month of indies.

Princess Celestia is a shimmer white jelly base. Contains blue and teal metallic hexes. Pink and purple matte squares, light purple diamonds and yellow flowers. You'll see in the bottle shot that my yellow flower is white. I guess it bled at some point. I have had this for awhile. Photos shown are 2 coats over white. Could be worn on its own. My guess is 4 coats for full opacity. Applied very easily.
And the bottle shot.
Thank you for having a look. Hope you are all enjoying my month of indies.

Indie month continues with Candy Lacquer
So, today I have 2 polishes from Candy Lacquer, Rarity and Frozen Treats. I'm ashamed to admit that these have been untried for too long. It's a bad habit I have developed.
Rarity its a clear based glitter with icy blue diamonds, various size and shapes of white and purple squares and hexes. Photos are 1-2 coats over Lime Crime Lavendairy. Base is a bit thick, but still manageable.
Frozen Treats is also a clear based glitter topper. Same formula, thick but workable. Various size white glitters with yellow, green, red, blue, purple and pink glitters. I may have missed a colour or two. Although there is lots of varying colours, they don't compete with each other. Photos shown are 1 to 2 coats over Lime Crime Crema De Limon.
Candy Lacquer is currently on vacation until January 10th. You can find the store here. Candy Lacquer is also on facebook.
Thanks again for checking out my blog. Hope you enjoyed todays post.

Sonnetarium Snowfall
The indie streak continues...
Sonnetarium Snowfall is a polish I have had for quite awhile but never got around to using. Oops, I don't know what I was waiting for. This is a really fun glitter topper. White glitters with small holo glitters. Could layer this over anything! I chose Lime Crime Once in a Blue Mousse. Seemed kind of wintery to me so I went with it.

Had to add a bottle shot
Sonnetarium polishes can be purchased through their store here. I originally bought this on etsy, but since then they have moved.
Thanks for visiting! Hope you liked. Stay tuned for other indie polishes all month long.
