Hi everyone,
Sorry for yet another prolonged absence. Life, what can you do?
Anyway, I am back with an attempt at a water marble. Don't judge the skills. I know they are lacking. I still like the outcome though.
For this water marble, I used Girly Bits Hooperchondriac, Thump Your Melons, and Hip Hoop Hurray. That would be green, orange, and purple! Had no issues using these polishes for water marbling. Any issues you see are my skills and not the polish. These photos were quickly taken on my phone after some clean up. You'll notice that more clean up is still needed which is making for fingers look a bit dirty. Sorry about that.
If you are looking for neon nail polish I really encourage you to check out the line that Girly Bits Cosmetics just released. I admit that I have already used them for quite a few mani's and pedi's. You can find the collection HERE.
Thanks for checking this post out. Hope you enjoyed!

HPB Halloween Mani Link Up
I belong to a Facebook group, Hobby Polish Bloggers. This is for our monthly link up, Halloween being this months theme. Make sure to check out the InLinkz at the end of the post for more great mani's from this group!!
I went with glitter skulls. My base is Girly Bits A Stripper Has Been Sleeping In My Bed. Stamping done with Mundo de Unas black and Messy Mansion 22. The sparkle was really throwing off my camera.
Thanks for the visit. You can also look for us on Instagram #HPBHalloween or #hpbloggers. Have a great day. Hope this is helping everyone get into the Halloween spirit.

Autumn Leaves Stamping MoYou London Mother Nature 07
I've finally done a fall manicure. The weather has changed, so I thought it was time.
My base is Girly Bits King of the Lab. I then dry brushed on a bit of Cirque Lichen and stamped with Rica Mother Earth using MoYou plate Mother Nature 07.
Some of the stamping got lost over the darker green areas. Live and learn, I guess. I was still pretty happy with how it turned out.
Here are links to stores: Girly Bits | Rica | Cirque | MoYou

Girly Bits D!ck In A Box
Hello readers! Today I have Girly Bits D!ck In A Box for you. This was Pam's top selling polish of 2013. And I am sure you all know where the name came from. It's still one of my favourite SNL skits.
D!ck In A Box is a charcoal grey scattered holo. I had full coverage in two coats. Photos are also without top coat. It's sooo sparkly! No issues to report, it is simply a fabulous polish!!!
You can find the Girly Bits store HERE. And bonus, this polish is currently in stock. You can also find links to other stockists if ordering directly isn't the best option for you.
And just in case you're interested in the video... here it is. Sound isn't that great though.
Thanks for visiting.

Girly Bits Mint To Be swatches
Girly Bits Mint To Be was designed as a base to be worn under glitter toppers. It is a bright minty green. Formula was good. After two coats I had almost perfect coverage, but did notice a few spots that were lighter, so I did do a third coat. Top coat nicely evened everything out. Please excuse the colour of my fingers in the photos. Mint greens tend to rebel with my skin tone!
Girly Bits polishes are available HERE. The shop is currently down until January 6th for the holidays. Pam also includes a list of stockists that carry her brand. Options are available worldwide. If you would like to see what this polish looks like with some glitter, click HERE to see a post I previously did using this as the base colour.
Thanks for the visit!

Girly Bits Spring It On Me!
Today I have Girly Bits Spring It On Me! to show you.
Spring It On Me! is a lightly tinted lavender base that is meant to be layered. Contains various size and shaped glitter in pink, purple, green, white, and silver. I may have missed something! Applies nicely. No dabbing required. Wasn't top coat hungry either. I really loved the colour combo of the glitter in this. Really reminds me of a garden in spring. My photos show two coats layered over Essie Full Steam Ahead.
Girly Bits can be purchased from Pam's shop HERE. There is also a distribution link on the site to point you in the direction of other stockists. The world is pretty much covered by this list so you can choose the most appropriate for yourself. I ordered this straight from the site.
Thank you for spending some time with me today! Hope to see you back soon.

Girly Bits Emerald City Duo
Emerald green jelly polish. YES PLEASE! I knew these were going to be mine. I'm a sucker for green polish.
Emerald City is an emerald green jelly polish. Applied like a dream. Nice and smooth with no streaks. Photos show 3 coats. Still a bit of vnl, but with my long nails, it's hard to eliminate that with a jelly.
Emerald City Lights is a green jelly with blue shimmer top coat. I have one coat over Emerald City. Gives at a bit up depth that is simply eye catching!
I love my Girly Bits. I don't think I've bought one yet that I haven't loved! Girly Bits store can be found here. And for a list of other retailers that carry Girly Bits polish please look here. No matter where you are, you will find an option to purchase.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you like green as much as I do!

Glo Worm by Girly Bits
Canadian weekend is ending with Girly Bits Glo Worm. I'm getting ready for some nice weather any time now and started to dig out the brights!
Glo Worm from the Slapdash collection is a neon lime green jelly with golden shimmer. I have 2 coats layered over white. You can wear it alone, but I find on my long nails it takes 4-5 coats to completely get rid of any vnl. Great application and the perfect summer shade!
Girly Bits can be purchased from her store here. Pam also has a section that lists other sources available to purchase her polish through. I recommend you check it out to find the best source for yourself.
Thank you everyone, I hope you enjoyed. Comments always welcome. Cheers!

Indie christmas favourites!
I know the holidays are over, but I wanted to share my favourite christmas polishes with you. Don't judge, I sometimes make odd choices! You might consider these some of them. On to the polish and you can decide for yourself. I will include links at the end of the post.
Pretty & Polished S'no Mans Land 2 coats over white
Girly Bits Eggnogoholic 3 coats on its own
Jindie Nails Grinch 2 coats over white
Lacquistry Coal for Wine-ers 2 coats over Finger Paints Silver Sculpture
I also have 2 honorable mentions that I didn't include photos of. They are Girly Bits Heirloom and Ninja Polish Melted Snowman! So, did any of these make your favourites list? I would love to hear what polishes did.

Indie month begins with January Morning!
Happy New Year!
I figured that starting off my indie polish month with a polish named January Morning is completely appropriate. And it's pretty, so how can you go wrong!
Pam @ Girly Bits made this polish as a tribute to her father. You can read all about it on her blog. It is part of the Calendar Girls 2012 collection. Girly Bits polishes can be purchased here. The shop is currently closed until Jan. 4.
I chose to layer this over Essie Absolutely Shore. The thing I love most about this polish is that you can wear it over any colour and it would look fabulous!
All photos are just one coat of January Morning! Don't you just love the subtle shimmer. I do :) Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the polish world. I'll be doing indie polishes all month so make sure you check it out!

Girly Bits Heirloom
More holiday collection polishes today. I am determined to get through all the ones I ordered before the end of December! Wish me luck.
Heirloom from Girly Bits is from her Season of Sparkle collection. Unfortunately her shop is now closed for the holidays but they can still be purchased from a few other sellers. Pam has a list of them on her blog here.
Heirloom is described as "A clear based glitter with all the vintage shades of a Victorian era Holiday". I think this pretty much sums it up. It is very pretty. The hardest thing about this polish was deciding what to layer it over. I went with Sally Hansen Mousseline. Applied smoothly and wasn't overly top coat thirsty.
This could be layered over so many different colours. I love having options. It really does seem Victorian to me. Love this. Can't wait to swatch the rest of the holiday polishes I purchased from Girly Bits. Thanks for looking everyone!
