Hi everyone. Happy Tuesday?
Today I have a comparison post for you. Lime Crime Milky Ways and Color Club Look, Don't Tusk.
As it turns out, they aren't as close to one another as I though they would be. Milky Ways is a touch on the creamier looking side opposed to the Color Club which I find to be a true ivory shade. For the photos I used two coats of each polish. The Lime Crime did have a few bubbles in it. The Lime Crime polishes tend to separate and since you have to give them a really good shake, I always end up with a few bubbles. I would roll them, but the shape of the bottle prevents that. Other then that, both the formulas are very similar. Both work well as bases for nail art. On there own, I find them a bit bland. In the pics I have Milky Ways on my index and ring fingers. Look, Don't Tusk is on my middle and pinky fingers.
Well, there you have it. They definitely aren't dupes! If you are looking for nail art bases, both of these are great. Of course, you will have a much easier time finding Color Club polishes. Lime Crime always seems to be on back order.
Thanks for the visit and I hope you enjoyed the post.

Lead Light Nail Stamping and Glitter oh my!
Hello everyone. I'm back with more lead light stamping for you today. Or, as I like to call it, paint by numbers. I know, I am dating myself ; ) And glitter of course!
I'll list all the polishes used after the photos.
The base colour for all nails is Color Club Look, Don't Tusk. The stamping is Mentality Scoundrel and MoYou London plate pro 08. The glitter accent nails are done with Glam Polish Day Dreamer. The lead lighting is done with L'Oreal jellies in Lilac Coolers, Creme de Mint, Bananarama Love, Jolly Lolly, and Berry Nice.
For those that have tried this technique using the OPI Sheer Tints, I have to mention that the L'Oreals work much better.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed!
Credit for this technique goes to Messy Mansion.

Color Club Portfolio
Color Club Portfolio is a deep purple with an amazing flash of green duochrome! Unfortunately, it was next to impossible to get a decent picture! Ugh, I hate it when that happens.
Photos shown are two coats with a coat of top coat.
As you can see, after three days of wear, I did have a bit of tip wear. Nothing too extreme. No staining upon removal either!
I got this polish at Nail Polish Canada. I actually redeemed some of my points for it! Yeah free!

Color Club Cosmic Fate
Cosmic Fate from the Halo Hues 2013 collection.
Color Club polishes are available at too wide a variety of places to name them all. You'll know better yourself, the best place to get them!
Cosmic Fate is a pinky, goldish, peachy? linear holographic. Photos are 2 coats with top coat. All pics taken in natural light.
Amazing formula on this. Had absolutely no issues. Wore it for about 2 1/2 days and had no tip wear or chips. Love it!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you all have a great weekend.
