Welcome to my weekly random post. Miscellaneous pics for the week.
Barry M Gelly in Olive. Two coats.
Another failed water decal attempt. KBShimmer Shore Thing and Sky Jinks. Illamasqua Grab. China Glaze Friends Forever, Right.
Ninja Polish Howling Blue Moon. 2 coats.
SquareHue Oxford Street. 3 coats. No top coat.
OPI You're So Vainilla. I found I've used this polish quite a few times. Great base colour.
Was that random enough for you? Talk about clashing colours. Thanks for stopping by.

70's Inspired Stamping - 52WPNMC
This is my entry for the Crumpets Nail Tarts 52 week pick n mix challenge. I decided to go with the 70's prompt.
My thought with this mani was ugly 70's wallpaper!
My base is SquareHue Oxford Street. Stamping plate Cici & Sisi 04 stamped with Mundo de Unas #12 Cream (which is more of a very pale yellow)

SquareHue Rio 05.14
SquareHue Passport Collection Rio May 2014
Ipanema is a mustard yellow with gold micro glitter. This had a really nice formula and I used three coats. No top coat. There is a bit of visible nail line in the photos, but in person they weren't as noticeable. I really liked this shade. Normally yellow anything isn't my thing, but I really liked the darker leaning shade.
Leblon is an emerald green metallic shimmer. Was quite streaky, as you can see. Wait a bit between coats or you may pull some of the previous coat off. Leveled nicely and full coverage in two coats. I love green, but couldn't get past the streaks.
Copacabana is a blue jelly full of holographic glitter. I have this shown with no undies. I used three coats for the pics. Of course, you could also layer this over a coordinating base. No issues with application for this one. The glitter spread nicely and the jelly base applied evenly.
So, overall I was happy with two out of the three polishes. Surprisingly the yellow was my favourite. Go figure. SquareHue is a monthly subscription and if you would like more information, please visit their website. $14.99 US plus shipping per month. Shipping costs differ per destination. Polish is 5 free and not tested on animals.
Thanks for popping by today! Hope to see you back soon.

SquareHue Tokyo 02.14
Today I have my first SquareHue box to share with you. SquareHue is a monthly subscription box that retails for $14.99 plus shipping. You can find all the details HERE. This is the February box Tokyo 02.14.
Up first is Roppongi. This is a semi sheer lemon/lime base with iridescent shimmer and a copper flash. After noticing how sheer it was I decided to show it layered on my middle and ring fingers. I've shown it over white. I noticed over the white that the copper flash isn't nearly as noticeable. The pinky and index fingers are three medium coats. The polish is a bit tacky but was still easy to apply. IRL there was still a bit of VNL on these fingers.
This is Shibuya a magenta micro glitter. Again three coats, but still some VNL. Had nice sparkle to it. No issues with application to report.
Ginza is a blue chrome like polish. Described as a shimmer, but it isn't very noticeable. This is very sheer. I have three coats and there is definite VNL. Even more pronounced in person. Minimal visible brush strokes.
So, overall these polishes were nice, but nothing really wowed me with its awesomeness. As this is my first box, I'm not writing them off just yet. Anyone here a SquareHue subscriber? What are your thoughts?
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope to see you back soon.
