I belong to a Facebook group, Hobby Polish Bloggers. This is for our monthly link up, Halloween being this months theme. Make sure to check out the InLinkz at the end of the post for more great mani's from this group!!
I went with glitter skulls. My base is Girly Bits A Stripper Has Been Sleeping In My Bed. Stamping done with Mundo de Unas black and Messy Mansion 22. The sparkle was really throwing off my camera.
Thanks for the visit. You can also look for us on Instagram #HPBHalloween or #hpbloggers. Have a great day. Hope this is helping everyone get into the Halloween spirit.

China Glaze Don't Let The Dead Bite Swatches
Today I have swatches of Don't Let The Dead Bite. This is the only polish I got from the China
Glaze Halloween polishes this year. The rest just didn't look appealing to me.
This has a flesh toned nude crelly base with various shapes of red glitter. It applied really easily and I had full coverage in two coats. Photos below are with top coat.
I think I preferred it matted. Anyway, I liked this, but didn't love it. Formula wise there were no issues. It was actually quite flattering with my skin tone. I was surprised by that.
Thanks for the visit. Hope you aren't sick of Halloween polishes yet!

Dollish Polish They're Coming To Get You Barbara
They're Coming To Get You Barbara was released last year for Halloween. This is a sheer grey jelly base. I've worn this on its own. It can be done, but remains on the sheer side. This time I decided to layer it. My base is OPI You're So Vainilla. The combo worked really well. Turned it into more of a khaki colour. I used three coats of They're Coming To Get You Barbara. It smoothed out with a coat of KBShimmer clearly on top.
The glitter payout is pretty good with the exception of the skull and crossbones. I'm okay with that. I think they look like alien babies. My favourite is the bright green glitter. I think it works perfectly in this mix. As mentioned, this polish is from last year. Don't fret. There are some currently available!

Dexter Inspired Blood Spatter Manicure
Well, hello everyone! Welcome to my entry for the Nail Polish Canada Halloween nail art challenge. We were invited to share our grotesque nails. Not that you have to, but I thought I would try. Please note that I am aware that the polish is on my fingers. I purposely left it there as I thought it looked more realistic that way.
This mani is inspired by the TV show Dexter. He loved to splatter blood on paper. And I was a big fan of the show. (until the final episode, don't even get me started)
Products used were Zoya Purity, Revlon Fire, and China Glaze Velvet Bow. And of course, some straws! I need to point out that my husband walked in while I was doing this. I think he thinks that I have now completely lost it. Although he did point out that it really did look like blood to him. I guess that is a complement!
Sorry for all the picks. The sun came out and I couldn't help myself. Quite happy with how these turned out. I admit, I am not the most creative, so when a mani turns out like I had hoped, I get pretty excited.
If you are interested in participating in this challenge, please visit Nail Polish Canada. The link will take you right to the contest page.
Thank you for the visit. I hope you liked it.

Happy Halloween nail art
Happy Halloween! Hope you all have a great day.
I couldn't decide what to do on my nails, so I did a little bit of everything! I'll give the rundown of all the colours used after the photos. I have to mention that I find it a lot harder to do nail art on nubbies. It's going to take me awhile to get used to.
Okay, polishes used are Seche Versatile and Silly But Sensible. Cult Nails Tempest and Nevermore, Zoya Mira. L.A. Colors art deco in Magenta and Mint Green. Top Coat is KBShimmer Clearly On Top.
I'm quite happy with these! The Frankenstein is my favourite. Thanks for stopping in. Wish you all a happy and safe Halloween.

China Glaze Boo-gie Down and Bat My Eyes
My last post with my long nails. So sad. Had a bad break, so nubbins it is.
Boo-gie Down is a clear base glitter topper. Various size and shape glitter in black, white and copper. Formula was great. No issues with application and all glitter laid flat on the nail. I have one coat of Boo-gie Down layered over China Glaze Budding Romance.
Bat My Eyes is a sheer black jelly base that is packed with antique gold glitter. No undies for this one. This is a little more difficult to apply simply because of the amount of glitter in it. I used three coats. I didn't notice until I was looking at the pics that I still had a few spots that were patchy. You may need to do some dabbing while applying. I love the overall look of this!
Both of these are from the Halloween 2013 collection Monsters Ball. I like that both aren't so Halloween that you couldn't wear them at another time of year. These were purchased by me from Nail Polish Canada.
Thanks for stopping in and I hope you all have a great Halloween!
And here is a bonus shot of Budding Romance on its own. I just watched the Exorcist and this reminds me a lot of a certain scene in the movie. Why I chose to use it as the undies!

Today I have Bundle Monster plate 305. Halloween theme.
Base is OPI Haven't The Foggiest and stamping polish is all from Konad.
All products used were purchased by me from Bundle Monster and Nail Polish Canada.

Dollish Polish Halloween 2013
I'll Swallow Your Soul is based on the movie The Evil Dead. This is a black crelly with gold and orange flakies and shards. Everything blends really nicely together. Dries to a satin finish. I recommend a shiny top coat to bring out the colour of the glitter. I needed three thin coats for full coverage.
They're Coming To Get You Barbara is based on Night Of The Living Dead. This polish has a sheer grey base and is full of various glitters in red, neon green, white and black. Includes larger black moons and white skull and crossbone glitter. I suggest letting this polish rest upside down for awhile prior to use. Even with doing that I was unable to fish out any of the crossbones glitter. I'll be honest, I'm not terribly upset by that. I think they look like alien bugs! For the pics I have two coats of They're Coming To Get You Barbara over OPI Stranger Tides. A glitter taming top coat is needed for a smooth nail. I used a regular top coat and you can see that it is chunky on the nail.
Is everyone ready for Halloween!!

Yes, more orange!
The last orange post, I promise. I hope you enjoyed them.
Quo by Orly Crushing On You is an orange jelly. Very squishy and nice! Just wish it was a tad more opaque. Lovely orange shade though. Three coats but still some vnl.
Lime Crime Peaches <3 Cream. Just have to say I hate that the name has a heart symbol in it. I just do! This is a pastel peachy orange. Dries flat, so a top coat is required. This will also help with leveling, as it doesn't apply perfectly. Nice and bright. I did have a bubble though.
Last, but not least, OPI Hi, Pumpkin. This is from last years Halloween set. It really does say pumpkin to me! Creamy medium orange cream. Not the best formula wise. Three coats for full coverage and doesn't quite self level. With top coat.
Well, I hope you have liked all the orange over the last few days. I do have more, but it's time to move on to something else. I'm oranged out for now!
