Indie Polish Mauve Over Pink

Indie Polish is a Canadian indie polish maker that has been operating for just over a year. You can find Tanya's Etsy shop HERE. One of the things I love is that there is always new polish being added to the shop. You don't have to wait for a seasonal collection.

So, today I have Mauve Over Pink to show you. The colour is pretty self explanatory given the name! This is described as a crelly, but I call it a straight up jelly. At three coats I still had vnl. That being said, the application was nice and smooth and dried quite shiny. I think this would look great as part of a jelly sandwich. Photos are without top coat.

OPI Mauving to Manitoba

This definitely falls into the oldie but goodie category! From what I could find online, I believe this polish made it's debut in 2004 and has since been made part of the classic line.

Mauve is a strange colour for me. Too many definitions of it. I'll call this a plum mauve. If you disagree, leave me a comment. I promise I won't take offense! The formula of Mauving to Manitoba is absolutely amazing! This was almost a one coater. I used two thin coats. Had my first coat been thicker I am sure I would have had full coverage. Photos are with top coat, but dried shiny on its own. Nothing makes this polish stand out, but it is pretty. What are your thoughts?

Play Me by Contrary Polish swatch and review

Play Me is my first ever Contrary Polish! Polishes are available from a few different online stores so I recommend checking HERE so you can choose the best ordering option for yourself. There is also a link for ordering mini's directly from Contrary Polish. Their facebook page also has updates regularly, so I suggest you follow along.

Play Me is a mauve grey with a green/blue shimmer. In the pics the shimmer looks blue, but in person, you do get a major green flash. I caught myself staring at my nails a few times! Formula was nice to work with. Three coats were needed for full coverage. Average drying time. Photos are with top coat.

The shimmer is much more noticeable in person. Quite eye catching. I really loved this polish. It was very me! Thanks for having a peek!
