NerdLacquer Cuprum

NerdLacquer. I know a lot of people have a love/hate relationship with this brand. I am included in this group! In two years of trying to buy polish from NerdLacquer and from other distributors, I have managed to buy a total of three. And that was just really fluky timing! Anyway, today I have Cuprum for you.

According to the listing this polish is opaque on its own in 2 coats. I was doubtful, so I decided to look up some posts on other blogs to find out. I usually don't do this, as I like to post a truly unbiased opinion. It looks like most bloggers chose to wear it on its own, but weren't all that happy with the results. Because of that, I decided I would layer it! So glad I did. I think I came up with a creative combo that looks great!

Cuprum is described as an antique copper. Various size and shades of copper glitter in copper shaded base. Almost a chartreuse base. Kind of hard to describe. Since I don't have polish to match perfectly, I decided to go with a brown base. I used OPI You Don't Know Jacques! I love the finished look. The tinted base turned the brown into a shade of olive that looks great with the copper. Photos are 2 coats of each with top coat.

Please excuse the chip on my middle finger. Had to open something for one of the kids and that was the result.
You can visit the NerdLacquer site HERE. In the past it was also carried at Ninja Polish and Harlow & Co. No one ever seems to know when or if there will be a restock. I am sorry I can't give more information about purchasing, but there just isn't any.

Orange shades metal and shimmer

Continuing with orange shades I have three more today.

China Glaze Harvest Moon. I have to say that I love this polish. Always have, always will! This is a burnt metallic orange. Two coats for full coverage.

OPI Clubbing Til Sunrise is a medium orange shimmer. I love the end result, but the formula doesn't wow me. Three coats for full coverage, but be careful with pulling. This also dried quite slowly. Formula was thin.

Jessica Overture. I included this because it is officially called an iridescent copper. To me it leans much more of a red. You do get the hints of copper, but that's it. Their official little colour dot isn't very accurate in my opinion. That being said, it has a great formula and I had full coverage in two coats.

There you go, three more orange shades to choose from. Hope you enjoyed!

CrowsToes Milquetoast

My first CrowsToes polish!  Very excited, and this polish did not disappoint!

Milquetoast is a cream crelly base full of various size copper glitter, with a lighter dusting of gold micro glitter. Full coverage in three easy coats. No digging or placing of glitter required. I did use of coat of Gelous to smooth it out followed by top coat.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Wee Beasties

Scofflaw Nail Varnish is a big 3 free indie polish. This is the first polish from this brand that I have tried. I'll definitely be going back for more! For more information on the brand I suggest you follow on Facebook. Their page seems to have the most current information. I purchased this polish from Llarowe.

WEE BEASTIES is an army green based glitter polish with copper shimmer. Filled with various size copper, pink and brown hexagons. This applied like a dream. I used two medium coats and had full coverage. Smoothed out completely with one coat of Seche Vite. This polish dries a bit matte. I included one pic of this. I actually really liked the matteness. The rest of the pictures are with top coat.

Loved this polish and glitter combo. All my favourites in one bottle! I have one more polish that I bought at the same time, so keep your eyes out for that.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed.

Forever Polished Mr. Staxx

MR. STAXX by Forever Polished is a jade green frosty base with green and copper micro glitters. This applied smoothly and in 2 coats. I did have to dab in a couple spots, but nothing major. I adore this polish! I love how there is lots of glitter, but it's not in your face.

Forever Polished has moved from Etsy to BigCartel. You can find the new shop here. Also follow along on facebook for any updates!
