Hey there! Hope you are all having an excellent day. Today I have a billion pics of I Love Nail Polish Birefringence to show off.
This polish is an amazing blue to purple duochrome that has some sparkle in certain lighting. Hence all the photos. I'll admit, I freaked out a little after applying the first coat. It was really thin and streaky. However, I almost had full coverage with the second coat. I applied a light third coat because of a few lighter patches. All photos are with top coat.
Did you make through all those. You can see why I added so many. Such various looks to this polish. ILNP can be found HERE. The listing for this polish states that there are flashes of orange and red, but I admit that I didn't notice these. And bonus, this polish is in stock! ILNP also ships internationally. WooHoo! Thanks for putting up with me today. Hope to see you back soon.

Color Club Portfolio
Color Club Portfolio is a deep purple with an amazing flash of green duochrome! Unfortunately, it was next to impossible to get a decent picture! Ugh, I hate it when that happens.
Photos shown are two coats with a coat of top coat.
As you can see, after three days of wear, I did have a bit of tip wear. Nothing too extreme. No staining upon removal either!
I got this polish at Nail Polish Canada. I actually redeemed some of my points for it! Yeah free!

Revlon Chroma Chameleon
Hi everyone! Today I have two polishes from the Revlon Chroma Chameleon collection. This was a set of colour shifting or duochromes that was released a while ago. I happened to find these on clearance for $1.99 cdn at my local drug store.
Amethyst is a true duochrome that shifts from purple to green. I used three thin coats for full coverage. The formula is a bit sticky, so I recommend that you let dry a bit before applying more coats. Minimal brush strokes. This is quite eye catching, but at the same time it isn't all that unique.
Topaz in the bottle looks like a green to blue colour shift. However on the nail it just translated to a green gold metallic finish. No matter what, I couldn't see a flash of blue. Also required three thin coats for full coverage. Again, minimal brush strokes. This was a disappointment as I was looking for a duochrome finish.
If you are interested in these you might just want to search the clearance section of your local drug store.

Enchanted Polish J'Adore
J'Adore is an icy pink scattered duochrome holographic. At least that is the best I can come up with! This is pretty, but subtle. Not the in your face holo that a lot of people are looking for. However, I quite like it. Found it really suited me. Formula wise, I find this on the sheer side. I used three coats and still had a bit of VNL. You could try using this as a top coat.
As I am sure you all know, Enchanted Polish isn't the easiest to get. I bought this from Nail Polish Canada a while back. I recommend you find a distributor and stalk them :)

Essie For The Twill Of It
For The Twill Of It by Essie is from the new fall collection. Stunning!
This is a dark grey based duochrome that flashes from purple to green. I also caught some pink in there too. The green didn't take in the photos, but it is there. Amazing formula. Only two coats needed for full coverage and there are only minimal brush strokes. My photos really don't do this polish justice. It needs to be seen in person to fully appreciate it!
Some say this is very close to the new OPI peace love and opi, but I don't have that to compare. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed!

Hebridean Sprite Beauty Luck of the Irish
Luck Of The Irish by Hebridean Sprite Beauty is from the spring 2013 Travel Europe collection. It's described as an old gold with green duochrome and holographic sparkle. The green shift is very subtle. I found it easiest to see in artificial light. You can definitely see the sparkle though. Photos are 2 coats with top coat. You can see a bit of vnl in the pics, but to the naked eye, they weren't noticeable. Great coverage for a lighter shade of polish. Very minimal brush strokes.
Hebridean Sprite Beauty store can be found here. And don't forget to follow along on facebook for updates!
Thanks for stopping in and joining me in my Canadian weekend on the blog. Cheers everyone.
