Powder Perfect Otherworld

Today I have swatches of Powder Perfect Otherworld. This polish is exclusive to Color4Nails.

Otherworld is a dark berry holographic with some sparse larger flakies. The formula was fantastic. This is two coats with a top coat. These photos were taken after I had been wearing it for a few days. There is some slight tip wear, but it wore really well.

I was really happy with this polish and was reluctant to take it off. It was just so pretty. As mentioned above, this is an exclusive Color4Nails shade. Unfortunately it appears to be out of stock. If interested, I would contact the store directly for information.
Thanks for the visit.

Renaissance Custom Lacquer in L'Ete

Is there a better way to end summer then with a polish named summer? Okay, maybe, but this is close!

L'Ete is a berry pink creme with holographic shimmer and glitter in silver, blue, and purple. The glitter isn't dense, so application is very easy. I used two medium coats and topped it off with KBShimmer Clearly On Top. Perfectly smooth and shiny.

A England Rose Bower

Rose Bower is from the new Burne-Jones Dream collection.  A England is no longer able to ship internationally, but they do have an extensive network of suppliers. Please check this LINK for where to buy!

ROSE BOWER is described as a deep red holographic. To be honest, I find this to be more of a berry red on me. Great holographic shimmer that gave my camera fits! You'll see what I mean in the photos. Sorry in advance. Like most A England polishes it is a thicker formula and is almost a one coater. I used two coats with topcoat. It does dry slightly matted.  My only complaint is that I started to notice tip wear in less then a day. Make sure to wrap your tips really well!

Overall, I am very pleased with this polish. Adore the colour and can see myself wearing this any time of year! Do you have this polish yet? Do you love it, too? Love to hear from readers.

Seche Nail Lacquer in Irresistible

I was very excited to walk in to my local Real Canadian Superstore and see that they were now carrying Seche Nail Lacquer! I had given up on being able to find it actually. The polish was $9.99. I'm not sure whether this is a good price or not as this is the first time I've seen it. If anyone knows leave me a comment!

IRRESISTIBLE is a berry coloured red. Close enough. I'll have to be honest and say that the formula on this was a bit of a let down for me. It was close to a one coater, which is what they advertise. After one coat it was still a bit patchy. After letting the first coat dry for a bit I applied another, but by this time it seemed like the polish had started to thicken a bit and I had to apply a thicker coat. I'm not sure If that makes sense to you? Because of this I ended up with a few bubbles. Also, this polish dries to a dull finish. Top coat is a must! I do like the colour however! I'm sure I'll grab for this again. I also think it would be great for nail art and possibly stamping. I bought a second colour, chocolat, so I'll be able to see if it has the same issues when I get around to trying that one. Photos are two coats of Irresistible with a coat of Seche Vite.

I would also like to add a note that removal was messy. Although it didn't stain, it made a mess of the skin around my nails. A day later I am still trying to get it completely off. I think I am going to have to break out the pure acetone. This is my last resort, as it dries out my skin and nails horrendously.

I would love to hear if you have tried Seche yet. Curious to know if I'm just being too picky! And please excuse the clean up. Bought a new brush and it sucks!

Thanks for stopping in everyone! Cheers.

Gloss n Sparkle polish!

These are my very first Gloss n Sparkle's that I recently purchased from Llarowe. They retail for $13.00 a bottle. I'll be showing you Frazzle Berry, Edge of The World and Decadence!
All photos are 2 coats, no undies. I would suggest that a 3rd coat is needed to completely get rid of VNL. To the naked eye, 2 coats is fine, but once in bright light you notice that they aren't quite fully opaque. All three polishes had a great formula. No issues with application at all.

Frazzle Berry is a raspberry jelly base polish with cranberry, dark green, and red hexes with silver shards.

Edge of the World is a dark teal green jelly with blue, green, and micro holographic glitters.

Decadence a red hued purple jelly base packed with silver micro glitters and blue micro flakes. Really impressive in the sun!

I have 3 more Gloss n Sparkles to try. I can't wait, I really loved these three. Again, I purchased these at Llarowe. For more details on the brand and where else you can purchase please visit their website.

Smitten Polish - Fire and Blood, Merry and Bright

Welcome fellow polish junkies. I have some more Smitten Polish to show off today. I do love them so!

Merry and Bright is a muted berry jelly base packed with copper and gold glitters. Based on Victorian era Christmas cards. Although this was part of the holiday collection it is still available. It can also be worn at anytime. It's fabulous. Photos are 3 thin coats. Use a thick top coat. The glitters are a bit chunky on the nail.

Fire and Blood Game of Thrones, say no more! A red jelly base that is easy to work with. Scattered with red, gold, and orange holographic glitters. Believe it or not, photos show 2 coats on its own. No undies.

Smitten Polish can be bought through Etsy or through Llarowe. Forgive me if there are other stores that carry this. These are all I know of. Follow Noelie's Smitten Polish page on facebook for updates and previews.
