OPI Rock Goddess Halloween 2013

Rock Goddess is OPI's Halloween collection for this year. The set consists of four mini polishes and a skull bracelet. Yeah, I passed the bracelet along to my daughter who looked at me like I was crazy! The set is made up of three cremes and a metallic.

So I don't repeat myself, I will give you the basic rundown here. Formula wise these were all very similar. Each polish required three coats. 3 or the 4 polishes still had a bit of vnl, although you can't necessarily see it in the photos. The only colour in the collection that I don't have something comparable to is The Drummer Is Hot (orange).

Yellopalooza is a yellow creme that leans a bit mustard on my nail. This could just be because of my skin tone.  Generally yellow and I don't get along.

Stand In Lime For Days is a yellow leaning lime green creme. This was the thinnest of the bunch.

The Drummer Is Hot is a red toned orange creme. Most pigmented of the set. I don't have anything like this. It's quite vibrant and fiery. Really the only one of the bunch that I like.

Rolling Bones is a platinum metallic polish. Quite thin so I actually recommend layering this one. Yes, it's that thin! Slight gold tone in certain lighting.

Thanks for sticking with me through all that!  Do you have a favourite from this collection?  As mentioned, I really only like the Drummer Is Hot. Maybe if the formulas were a bit better? Probably not. This collection is just meh. Happy October everyone!
