COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Brilliant Catching Fire polish

Catching Fire, need I say more. So excited for this movie. Had to get the polish too. I chose three to try and will be showing those to you today. Seared Bronze, Rogue Red and Black Heat.

I'll just give you the rundown here so I don't keep repeating myself. First, they are all the small glosstini size bottles. Just be aware in case you were hoping for full size. All have very similar formulas. As in terrible, sadly. Even on my poor little nubbies I didn't get full coverage. At first I was trying thinner coats, three, still patchy. Switched to two thicker coats, still patchy. And then took forever to dry. No winning here. Besides the horrid application, the colours didn't exactly rock my boat. Maybe it's just that I like the series so much that I expected too much? For me, the only one that was tolerable was Black Heat. Remember, just my opinion everyone! Don't hate on me if you happen to love these!

Well, thoughts? Have you tried any of this collection? Am I the only one who isn't a fan? Anyway, thanks for stopping by today. Hope to be back with something prettier soon!

  1. Violet Flicker was my favorite from this group. I do wish they were full size bottles and some of the colors were on the sheer side, true. I think my thick coats must be thicker than yours, as two thick coats were good for me with these (except maybe the yellow but I don't wear much yellow so I wasn't too bothered).

    1. Karen, I think these are going to fit in to the love/hate classification for most!
