Delush Polish Her Ladyship

Good morning everyone. Hope you are enjoying your start to the long weekend!

Today I have Her Lady from Delush Polish Downton A-list collection. This is a peach leaning coral base with yellow daisy glitter and a mix of glitter in yellow, teal and pink. It sounds a bit overwhelming, but it all blends into the colourful base. I only needed two coats for full coverage. I could only get one daisy out of the bottle, but it is a mini size and I sometimes find them harder to get at larger glitters. A smoothing top coat is recommended.

Duri Cosmetics One Night Only

While shopping in my local Winners I stumbled upon a display of Duri nail polish. I thought they only did nail treatments! Guess I need to get out more. Anyway, I purchased one to try.

One Night Only is a deep raspberry creme. Dries to a satin finish. Great formula. Applied smoothly and evenly. Two coats for full coverage. I did notice after a day that there was a bit of tip wear. Overall I still liked it. Photos are with top coat.

Other then seeing these at Winners, I don't know where to buy in person. If you live in the U.S. it appears that you can order from their site. I couldn't find any additional information. If anyone knows, please let us all know!

Julep Matte Suede Collection

Today I have the entire Julep Matte Suede collection that was released in November 2012. As all the formulas were consistent I'll just give you the rundown now for all of them. Each polish shown is three coats with no top coat. They applied easily. Dried very quickly. I recommend a good coverage base coat because they did tend to highlight all my nail flaws. Please note that I only swatched these, so I can't comment on wear time or staining. Colour descriptions are from the Julep site.

NORA - silver aubergine

AMBER - golden bronze

BRIT - graphite silver

HAILEE - khaki green

MINKA - copper red

Do you have a favourite from this collection. Mine would have to be Hailee. I'm a sucker for green! If you are interested in becoming a Julep Maven you can sign up HERE. Better deals if you are a maven. And the suede's are currently in stock!

Thanks for stopping in to visit!

Sation Delete Your Junk Male

Delete Your Junk Male is described by Sation as an electric cerise red. I would say that that's pretty dang close! There is also some shimmer in it, but it gets lost in translation. In the right lighting you can catch flashes of it, but that's it. Too bad. It may have something to do with it being a jelly. Maybe all the coats you need to use hide it. I needed 4 coats for opacity. This polish is from the Miss Antoinette collection. Photos are with top coat. And I have to add that I found dry time to be a bit longer then usual. Again, could be the 4 coats.

Overall I really liked this. It was nice and squishy and bright! For more information on Sation please visit their website.

Flip Flop Fuggedaboutit!

Flip Flop Fuggedaboutit! by Pretty & Polished.

This polish is a light pink to coral colour changing thermal polish. The Pretty & Polished site calls this a white to salmon pink, but mine didn't turn a truly white. You'll see this in my photos. This polish also contains pink, blue and fuchsia glitter. Full opacity for me was three coats. Topped with a coat of gelous and top coat. Be warned this polish was top coat hungry so you will need something to smooth out the glitter.

Enchanted Polish Time to Pretend

I have to start by saying I am terrible at taking pictures of holographic polishes. I can never get it quite right, so you'll have to deal with close enough!

Time To Pretend is also the name of the collection. This is a blurple, but leans more to the purple side,  linear holographic. Or at least I think it is.? I always get confused when describing holo's! Applied smoothly. Photos are three thin coats with no top coat.

Alcatraz Rocks OPI San Francisco collection

Good morning everyone. I don't know about you all, but I am still recovering from Miley Cyrus' vma performance last night. Gross!  Enough of that, onto polish.

Today I have Alcatraz Rocks from OPI's new fall collection. Of the entire collection this is the one I HAD to have. Alcatraz Rocks is a liquid sand polish (matte texture). This is a greyed out purple with lots of sparkle. In fact it is hard to call it a matte the sparkle is so noticeable. Photos are three thin coats with no top coat. You may be able to get away with two coats on shorter nails. Bonus, no staining to report!

Essie For The Twill Of It

For The Twill Of It by Essie is from the new fall collection. Stunning!

This is a dark grey based duochrome that flashes from purple to green. I also caught some pink in there too. The green didn't take in the photos, but it is there. Amazing formula. Only two coats needed for full coverage and there are only minimal brush strokes. My photos really don't do this polish justice. It needs to be seen in person to fully appreciate it!

Some say this is very close to the new OPI peace love and opi, but I don't have that to compare. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed!

Lime Thief by Femme Fatale Cosmetics

Lime Thief is a green/yellow jelly base glitter. Contains various size and shape glitter in teal, red and green. The first coat appeared very yellow, but the base got greener with each layer of polish. I used three coats for the swatches seen. Good coverage and no fishing or placing of glitters required. Photos shown are with top coat.

Julep Lois

Julep Lois -  boho glam collection.
Lois is a pearly, frosty rose pink. Application was smooth and easy. Formula had great coverage. The one downfall is the little clumps of something that were in the polish. I am willing to try again to see if they go away. It is a nice colour! Unfortunately the lumps are noticeable, as you'll see in the pics. Photos show two coats of Lois with top coat.
