imPRESS press on nails review

PRESS SAMPLE

Today I have a review of imPRESS press-on nails from Broadway Nails. This product was received from influester for an honest review. My box contained two sets. A metallic pink called Control Freak and a lace pattern design named Holla. This post will feature Holla.

The directions on the package are easy to follow. There is nothing complicated about using these nails. Simply peel and stick. The problem I did run into is that they didn't fit my nails well. I have narrow, longish, curvy nails. To find a nail narrow enough, my natural nail just peaked out the tip. Also, because of the curve of my nail I had a noticeable gap at the sides of my nail between the real and the fake. I really didn't like that. Once I noticed this, I decided they wouldn't work for me and dragged my daughter into the nail world. All the pictures below are of her hands. This partnership worked quite well as her natural nails are short, so there were no issues trying to find a size that would cover completely.
She loves these. The design is right up her alley, and says they are very comfortable. Her only problem is that she isn't used to having long nails, so she is having to adjust to that a bit. And don't worry, she is 17, so don't think I'm being cruel and placing these on a toddler to try out ; )

This is the underside so you can see the length. They have a definite squavol shape.

And I didn't notice until I saw this picture that there is a very fine holographic shimmer on these. The thumb is also quite boxy in appearance. We had to use one that was just a touch too wide.

Overall, she was super excited to wear these. I, on the other hand, was not. Of course, I have long natural nails, so I don't feel the need to wear a fake set. But for someone like my daughter that has short nails, I think this is a great option. Suggested retail is $8.99 for colours and $10.99 for patterns. Available at Walmart, Target, London Drugs, Jean Coutu, Katz, Loblaws, and more.

  1. That lace design is pretty. I've tried these in the past before and I think there okay. There not very comfortable on my nails though.
