Ocean Love Potion Sephora by OPI

I know, I know, Sephora is no longer carrying these polishes, but they do still have some on clearance so you may be able to still find it. Or like me, find it at a discount chain. I found this beauty at Winners.

Ocean Love Potion is a sea green creme polish. Formula is a tad on the thin side but very pigmented, so there were no issues with coverage. Just be careful of pooling at the cuticles and you'll be fine. Photos are two thin coats with top coat.

I really like this colour. Sometimes shades like this just don't work for me! Thanks for stopping in today!

Jaded Sally Hansen salon manicure

Today I have Jaded by Sally Hansen. Complete salon manicure. Love the brushes that come with this line!

Jaded is more of a seafoam colour to me than it is a jade. My love for this polish died with the first coat. So thin and watery. Ugh. I stopped after four coats and I still had vnl. Not impressed. And I would love to say it's because this is a jelly, but it's not. Maybe a crelly, but I still think they were going for creme. My thoughts are don't bother with this polish.

Has anyone else tried this polish? Thoughts? I generally like this line of polish, so this was a big disappointment for me.

Illamasqua Nomad swatch and review

Today I will be showing off the one and only Illamasqua polish that I own, Nomad. I purchased this from Sephora. I believe in Canada and the U.S. that that is the only supplier. Let me know if I am wrong on that!

NOMAD is a hard to describe shade of green. Is that helpful? I didn't think so. Maybe a bright seafoamish? Bright sorta jade? Anyway it is bright. Call it want you want I guess. Photos are 3 coats with top coat. Formula wise this wasn't the best. I don't like having to fight with an application. I also hated the lid. I have a hard time holding square lids. It didn't self level, even with top coat, although that did help with most of the leveling issues.

So to summarize, I wasn't impressed. Especially as this retails for $22.00 cdn. Unfortunately since this is the only Illamasqua polish I own, I can't compare it. I really don't feel the need to buy anymore of them after using Nomad. Sad, because the shade is quite lovely! Do you have any experience with this brand? Would love to hear your thoughts!
