Revlon Mayan Riviera and French Roast

Today I have two random Revlon shades for you.

Mayan Riviera is a new shade from their pebbled texture collection. Personally, I find this to be more of a densely packed glitter polish opposed to an actual textured polish. It was very dense which made it difficult to apply nicely. A lot of dabbing was required. It dries to a matte finish. I didn't use top coat. I really liked the colour of this polish, but other then that, it was a fail for me. This also was slow to dry.

French Roast is from their Colorstay line. I actually found this at a dollar store! It's a medium brown creme with a lighter brown shimmer and a small amount of blue microshimmers. I used two coats plus top coat. It self leveled perfectly, and was nice and shiny. I really enjoyed this one!

At least one of them was a winner for me! I won't be purchasing anymore of the Revlon textures, that is for sure. Revlon is available at most drugstores.

  1. That texture is not really a texture, looks more like glitter to me. French Roast is a really nice rich brown though.
