HPB Presents Smoke Nail Art

Hobby Polish Bloggers (HPB) presents New To You, our theme for January.

My "new to me" is smokey nail art. I saw this done by Chalkboard Nails and thought it would be something possible for me to try. My nail art skills are fairly limited!  You can see the tutorial HERE.

My black base is Formula X Dark Matter and the smoke was made using Essie Absolutely Shore.  This was easy enough to do. I actually wore this as a full mani on both hands. I'm curious to try this using different colours to see if it still has the same effect.

I Love Nail Polish Birefringence Swatches

 Hey there! Hope you are all having an excellent day. Today I have a billion pics of I Love Nail Polish Birefringence to show off.

 This polish is an amazing blue to purple duochrome that has some sparkle in certain lighting. Hence all the photos. I'll admit, I freaked out a little after applying the first coat. It was really thin and streaky. However, I almost had full coverage with the second coat. I applied a light third coat because of a few lighter patches. All photos are with top coat.

Did you make through all those. You can see why I added so many. Such various looks to this polish. ILNP can be found HERE. The listing for this polish states that there are flashes of orange and red, but I admit that I didn't notice these. And bonus, this polish is in stock! ILNP also ships internationally. WooHoo! Sweater Stamping Nails

I know sweater nails are everywhere, but I do like them!

My base for this mani is Barry M Prickly Pear. Stamping is done with Mundo de Unas Metallic Violet using MoYou London plate Fashionista 03.

I did enjoy this stamping. I love the similar colours together. It was a bit challenging to get the camera to pick it up, that's why the low light photos made the cut.
