Bondi New York August Box

As you may, or may not be aware, Bondi New York began a subscription box service in August. As I was already on the Bondi bandwagon the last few months I knew I had to get this. Each box comes with three polishes and one beauty item. The August box was random, but going forward there will be a choice in which polishes you receive. And the real bonus is that subscriptions are open worldwide! For all the information, please visit their site http://www.bondinewyork.com/.  My box contained NYPD, Brick Road and Fuschia-istic plus the suki box. The bonus is only one colour is a duplicate for me.(nypd)

As you can see, the colours are very accurate compared to the bottles. Photos show two coats of each colour with top coat. They all have similar formulas. Brick Road (yellow) is perhaps a bit thinner. All three applied like butter. Top coat isn't totally necessary as they dry shiny on their own, but you know, we need top coat anyway! All Bondi New York polish is 5 free and cruelty free! I have to admit that I do have one complaint. The square caps, UGH! I have tiny hands and have a hard time finding a comfortable grip while using square handles. You can get them off, with some effort! They aren't designed to be removed. And heaven help me if the lids don't screw back on nicely. Hate when square caps don't align back with the bottle. You polish people know what I am talking about! Don't deny it. That being said, it doesn't steer me away from this brand. I don't think anything could. And FYI, they have an amazing customer service team. Just sayin'.

Picture Polish skittle colourblock manicure

My first colourblock manicure! The lines could be crisper, but all things considered, I think it turned out pretty well! I dubbed it a skittle as well because I used 11 different colours.

My base is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. The other colours are all Picture Polish collaboration shades. I used hope, sea jewel, kyrptonite, lagoon, shy violet, demeter, shocked, freya's cats, focus, electric dream and mallard.

 Did you notice? I have pictures of the dreaded other hand! LOL...

Celebration by Pop Culture Cosmetics

I'm back and had a great holiday! Now I can get back to my nails...

Today I have Celebration from Pop Culture Cosmetics. White jelly base with various size circle glitter in pinks, blues, greens and purples. I have 3 coats layered over a white base. The glitter can be difficult to get out, so I recommend letting the bottle sit upside down before using. Glitter sits nice and flat. All photos taken in natural sunlight.
